Jane’s passion is to make beautiful unique pieces that can be used every day – hand thrown and hand decorated earthenware ceramic mugs, jugs and bowls.

Jane started pottery as a hobby about 12 years ago.  She had a budget to buy some new tableware but couldn’t find anything she liked so decided to buy some blanks and paint her own designs.

After a while she wanted to learn how to make the actual pieces and started taking pottery classes, learning to throw on the wheel.

She started to sell some pieces through a local gallery and was lucky enough to get a picture of her bowls in ‘Country Living’ magazine and things gradually took off from there.

She works from her home studio in Bristol. Jane’s work has a nostalgic, pretty, vintage style but is made in modern practical shapes; is suitable for everyday use and is dishwasher safe.
