Detailed Workshop Description
Try out the different lino cutting tools and find out how to use them safely. Look at the different marks they make and see how to turn an image into a suitable one for a lino block
Either bring your own pictures of Bristol with you such as landmarks or scenes or use the variety of source material provided to get inspiration for your designs. (Drawing skills aren’t requied as you can trace and use shapes).
Once you have cut your design you will then learn how to ink up the rollers and your lino block so you can hand print your lino block onto cards, gift tags, printing paper etc.
All materials are provided and participants will be able to take home their creations along with the carved lino blocks which can be used again to carry on printing at home.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided
