Create two tree design Christmas decorations. They can either be used as hangings or placed in a stand with a tea light behind. The decorations are approximately 13cm in height. You can choose from a selection of templates to help guide your design and then pick from an array of pre cut glass and glass accessories to create your trees.

This is a taster fused glass workshop and you will learn the basics of kiln-formed glass techniques whilst creating your decorations. The workshop is informal, fun and relaxing and no previous experience is necessary.

After the workshop, your decorations are kiln-fired and ready for collection approximately 1 week later.

Bamboo T-light stands for your glass are available to buy for £4 if you choose this option.

The Glass Cabin

Bristol glass artist, Rachael Durkan, the inspiration behind The Glass Cabin, creates unique glass art and homewares. Inspired by geometric shapes and patterns found in nature, subtle colour combinations are used to create charming pieces, revealing themselves as the light changes. Rachael’s more recent work is produced using powder print technique. This is very similar to screen printing, moving glass powders through a fine mesh screen to build up layers of patterns and colours. Fascinated by the complexity of this material and the processes involved in kiln-formed glass is where Rachael’s passion lies. Available to purchase In Store and Online
